Q. What is the Nuance Volume License Program?
A. The Nuance Volume License Program (VLP) is a cost-efficient method for Australian organizations to procure multiple seats of Nuance software.

Q. What is the initial quantity of licenses required by a customer to qualify for a VLP purchase?
A. The minimum quantity orderable under VLP is 10 licenses of any one product edition.
Re-orders may however be made for a minimum of 5 licenses of any one product edition.

Q. How is the VLP price determined?
A. Price is determined by the quantity of licenses purchased in a single order for a particular product and edition.

The following table lists the ranges.

Q. If a customer places a re-order, how is the re-order priced?
A. A re-order is defined as an order placed for the same product edition that is placed within 60 days of a prior order for the same product edition.
Re-orders in a lower quantity range will qualify for pricing at the quantity range established by the prior order.
Re-orders in a higher quantity range qualify for pricing at the higher program level and establish a higher program level for subsequent re-orders placed within 60 days.

Q. Is technical support available for VLP customers?
A. Yes. Each product that is purchased entitles the customer to one free technical support incident.
Additional Technical Support is available on a "per incident" basis.

Q. Who do resellers contact to place orders?
A. Volume License orders are fulfilled through select resellers and certified distributors.

Q. What is delivered in a VLP order?
A. Each order for a volume license of a product edition under the VLP will receive:
  • A license certificate for the end customer (includes specific information on the licenses purchased)
  • A single CD
  • One printed manual


Q. How can a customer purchase additional manuals and CDs?
A. Customers may purchase additional CDs and manuals through their resellers or through the Nuance Customer Service centre.

Q. What if a company is acquired? Can the licenses be transferred to the new company?
A. Yes, but only with prior written approval from Nuance.
